Day 5: Watertown

We said goodbye to Sioux Falls on this morning and drove north to Watertown straight to County Fair Foods where our final stop would be. Grocery store owner, Jeff Gambers graciously hosted us in his parking lot and Mayors Advisory on Disabilities bought us lunch in the deli.
We found a good spot in the parking lot and started setting up. We were met by several volunteers from the area who came to help. Cindi Spieker from New Horizons did a bunch of ground work for us. Mike Grengs was a ring leader in helping us get things going. Pretty soon the party was in full swing with many visitors coming and taking part in the creativity. Our freinds Peter and Amber Boyle and their kids came early to hang out. We had a Michael Jackson impersonator do an impromptu perfromance and others eagerly took to the mics to participate in sing-a-long songs. People of all ages came and enjoyed the festive celebration.
When it was all done and we were all packed up we headed to HyVee where we had supper and a discussion with Mike Grangs about a Art & Music party back in Watertown in the future.
Watertowns party was a great success and with Mike's help we will return for more creative fun.
